On Friday, the results of Bihar Board Class 10 exams were released, with 14 students from Jamui district securing a spot in the top ten. The students of Simultala Residential School, also known as the "factory of toppers," achieved the best performance among the 14 toppers. This year, 112 students, comprising 54 girls and 58 boys, from Simultala Residential School appeared in the matriculation examination, with 10 students securing a spot in the top ten. Shubham Kumar secured the fourth position in Bihar with 483 marks, while Sudhanshu Shekhar secured the fifth position with 481 marks. Pankhuri Kumari, Himanshu Kumar, Bhavya Raj, Roshan Kumar, Prabhat Kumar, and Arpita Kumari secured the sixth to eighth positions, with Aastha Kumari and Sushma Kumari securing the tenth position.

Simultala Residential School has been consistently performing well in the last few years. In 2015, the first year of its establishment, out of 31 toppers of Bihar, 30 were students from this school. In 2016, 121 students appeared in the board examination from this school, with 42 of them securing a spot in the top ten. The school's performance slightly declined from 2017, with 12 students securing a place in the top ten in 2017, 17 in 2018, 16 in 2019, 30 in 2020, and 14 in 2021. In 2022, five students from Simultala Residential School secured a place in the top ten.

Dr. Rajeev Ranjan, the principal of the school, mentioned that 10 students from the school secured a place in the top ten in the matriculation examination this year. The results of the remaining students are still being assessed, and the teachers and students of the school are determined to achieve even better results next time.
