Extended Deadline for Answer Key Objections:
The deadline for challenging the answer key has been extended until today, June 15, specifically for engineering and pharmacy streams. Initially, candidates had until June 13 to raise objections.
Submission Process:
Candidates can only raise objections through offline mode. This entails submitting objections via post or delivering them in person to the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala. Each objection must be supported by relevant documents and accompanied by a fee of Rs 100 per question.
Important Instructions:
In its official statement, the board emphasized the importance of adhering to the submission guidelines. Any objections sent via email or fax will not be considered valid.
KEAM 2024 Examination Overview:
The KEAM exam is conducted annually for admission to various undergraduate courses offered at institutes in Kerala. This year, the exam was held from June 5 to June 10 in computer-based test mode.
Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme:
- The exam consisted of 150 questions, including 75 from Mathematics, 45 from Physics, and 30 from Chemistry.
- Candidates applying for the BPharm course had 45 questions in Physics and 30 in Chemistry, to be answered within 90 minutes.
- The marking scheme for KEAM 2024 is as follows:
- Four marks for each correct answer
- One mark deducted for each incorrect attempt
- No marks deducted for unanswered questions
Expected Result Date:
The KEAM 2024 exam results are anticipated to be released on June 20, providing candidates with valuable insights into their performance.
Additional Admission Opportunities:
CEE Kerala has also invited fresh applications for admission to BArch and Medical, Medical allied courses (including MBBS and BDS) from candidates who did not previously apply under KEAM 2024. Moreover, candidates who have already submitted applications for any courses can apply for additional courses, such as Architecture or Medical, before the deadline on June 19.
