The UPSC has announced the release of admit cards for the Indian Statistical Service (ISS) and Indian Economic Service (IES) examinations for 2026. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official UPSC website by entering their mobile number and captcha code. The exam is set to take place from the 19th to the 21st, and candidates are advised to arrive early to avoid missing the entry deadline. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially issued the admit cards for the upcoming Indian Statistical Service (ISS) and Indian Economic Service (IES) examinations. Candidates who are set to take the UPSC IES/ISS Exam 2026 can access their admit cards via the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in.


How to Download Your Admit Card

To obtain the admit card, candidates need to provide their mobile number along with the captcha code. This examination will facilitate the recruitment of 44 qualified candidates: 28 positions are allocated for the Indian Statistical Service (ISS) and 16 for the Indian Economic Service (IES).


Steps to Download the Admit Card:


1. Navigate to the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.


2. Locate the "What's New" section on the homepage.


3. Click on the link labeled "UPSC IES ISS Admit Card 2026."


4. Enter your login credentials, including your mobile number and the captcha code.


5. After entering the details, your admit card will be displayed on the screen.


6. Ensure to print the admit card for your records.


Exam Schedule and Guidelines

Exam Dates:


The UPSC IES/ISS examination is scheduled to take place from the 19th to the 21st. As per the official UPSC announcement, the entry gate will close 30 minutes prior to the start of the exam. Candidates are strongly encouraged to arrive at the examination venue well in advance to avoid any last-minute issues, as latecomers will not be permitted entry.
