Application Deadline Extension for UP Polytechnic JEECUP 2026

The Joint Entrance Examination Council of Uttar Pradesh has announced an extension for the application deadline for the UP Polytechnic JEECUP 2026 examination. Candidates interested in taking the UP Polytechnic Entrance Examination 2026 now have until May 10 to submit their applications.

As per the official announcement, those who have already submitted their applications will have the chance to make corrections to their forms on May 9, 10, and 11, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

Candidates' ages will be calculated as of July 1, 2026, with a minimum age requirement of 14 years. To qualify for UP Polytechnic courses, applicants must have completed Class 10, Class 12, B.Sc., B.E., or B.Tech. in the relevant field, along with meeting other specified eligibility criteria.

Examination Format

The UP Polytechnic Entrance Examination will be held in a computer-based format, featuring Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The exam will consist of 100 questions, each worth four marks. Candidates will have 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the exam, and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. It is essential for candidates to arrive at their designated examination centers at least 2 hours early to complete the biometric registration process.

Registration Fee Requirement

All candidates must pay a registration fee to apply for the UP Polytechnic Entrance Examination. The fee is set at ₹300 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, while SC and ST candidates will pay ₹200.
