On May 6, the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) released admit cards for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination 2023. Registered candidates can download their admit cards from the official OSSC website, https://www.ossc.gov.in/. The prelims exam is scheduled for May 14, and candidates must bring their admit card to the examination hall. To download the admit card, applicants must enter their date of birth and registration number.

To download the OSSC CGL Admit Card 2023, follow these steps:

  • Visit the official website of OSSC—ossc.gov.in
  • Open the CGL Admit Card link on the homepage
  • Enter your login credentials, such as Date of Birth and Registration number
  • Admit card will be displayed on the screen
  • Download and take a printout of the Admit Card.

Candidates must bring a valid photo ID, such as their Aadhar card, PAN card, driver’s license, etc., along with their admit card. They should carefully review all the information on their admit card, including their name, exam center, exam day and time, etc. If there is a mistake, they should contact OSSC officials. It is advised that they arrive at the examination center before the reporting time to avoid any delay.

The prelims examination will be an objective type multiple-choice questions (MCQ) based exam. It will consist of 150 questions, with each question carrying one mark, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The exam will be 2.5 hours long and will comprise questions from quantitative aptitude, current affairs, computer awareness, and reasoning sections. Selection will be done through a preliminary examination, followed by Mains exam and document verification.

Through this recruitment examination, more than 1,200 vacancies for Group B and C posts will be filled. Initially, 943 vacancies were announced, and later, 324 additional job openings were added to the list. This includes 56 Group B and 268 Group C posts.
