City Slips Now Available for JEE Main 2026
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the release of city slips for the upcoming JEE Main 2026 Session 2 examination. Candidates who are set to take the Joint Entrance Examination can access their city slips via the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. To retrieve their slips, candidates must log in using their credentials. The examination for Paper 1 is scheduled for April 2, 4, 5, 6, and 8, 2026, while Paper 2 will be held on April 7.
The exam will occur in two shifts: the first from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the second from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Testing centers will be located across various cities in India and in 15 international locations.
Steps to Download Your City Slip:
1. Visit the official JEE Main website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
2. Click on the link for "JEE Main Exam 2026 Session 2 exam city slip" on the homepage.
3. A new page will open where you need to enter your login information.
4. Click "Submit" to view your exam city slip.
5. Check the details on your slip and download it.
6. Keep a printed copy for your records.

This year, JEE Main has seen a remarkable surge in applications, with over 1.6 million students registering. Specifically, more than 1.4 million candidates applied for the January session, while over 200,000 have registered for the April session.

The leading government institutions in India, including IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, offer a total of 63,000 engineering seats. This includes approximately 18,000 seats in IITs, around 24,500 in NITs, nearly 10,000 in IIITs, and over 10,000 in Government-Funded Technical Institutes.
