Admit Card Release for CA Exams

New Delhi: A significant announcement has been made for the millions of students preparing to become Chartered Accountants. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has released the admit cards for the CA examinations scheduled for January 2026.

With the release of the admit cards, candidates are now in the final stages of their exam preparations. It is advised that they download their admit cards promptly and carefully verify all the information contained within.

Complete Exam Schedule

According to the notification from ICAI, the CA final exams will be conducted in January 2026 in two groups. Group 1 exams are set for January 5, 7, and 9, while Group 2 exams will take place on January 11, 13, and 16. The timing for papers 1 to 5 is scheduled from 2 PM to 5 PM.

Paper Timing and Duration

For paper 6 of the final exam, candidates will receive additional time. This paper will run from 2 PM to 6 PM, allowing a total of four hours. In contrast, papers 1 to 5 will have a duration of three hours. Students are advised to arrive at the examination center well in advance.

Intermediate Exam Schedule

The CA Intermediate Group 1 exams are scheduled for January 6, 8, and 10. Group 2 exams will occur on January 12, 15, and 17. All intermediate papers will be held from 2 PM to 5 PM, with each paper allotted three hours.

Foundation Exam Dates

ICAI has also announced the dates for the foundation exams, which will take place on January 18, 20, 22, and 24, 2026. Papers 1 and 2 will have a duration of three hours, while papers 3 and 4 will be for two hours each.

How to Download the Admit Card

Candidates can visit the official ICAI website at icai.org, navigate to the student or examination section, and click on the admit card link. After logging in, it is essential to download the admit card and print it out, as entry to the exam will not be permitted without it.
