Admit Card Announcement: The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has officially issued the admit card for the Sub-Inspector (Prohibition) preliminary examination, as per Advertisement No. 03/2026. The examination is scheduled for July 12. Candidates can access their admit cards by visiting the BPSSC's official website.


The recruitment process commenced earlier this year, with the notification released on January 22, 2026, announcing 78 available positions. The application window was open from January 27 to February 27, 2026.


Steps to Download the Admit Card:
To obtain the admit card, candidates must navigate to the official website. On the homepage, they should click on the link titled "Admit Card For SI Prohibition Pre Exam." After that, they need to log in using their registration number or mobile number along with their date of birth. Once logged in, the admit card will be displayed; candidates should check the details thoroughly and download it.


It is essential for candidates to bring a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID, such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, or driving license, to the examination center.

Salary Information:
Newly appointed Sub-Inspectors in the Bihar Prohibition Department will earn a competitive salary ranging from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 (Level 6), in addition to various allowances.

The recruitment examination consists of two parts: the preliminary and the main examination. The preliminary exam is worth 200 marks and includes 100 questions, with a time limit of two hours.
