Candidates aspiring to be Junior Parliamentary Reporters must possess a graduate degree from a recognized university or institute. Additionally, they must demonstrate proficiency in shorthand with a minimum speed of 160 words per minute.
Age Limit:
Prospective applicants for the Junior Parliamentary Reporter position must be between 18 to 30 years old. The age is calculated based on the last date of submission of the online application, as per the administration’s guidelines.
Application Fees:
Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 100, along with Rs 60 as bank charges. However, there is relaxation in application fees for candidates from reserved categories. The application fees are to be paid online during the registration process.
Selection Process:
The administration provides a detailed syllabus for various exam papers, including Preliminary and Main exams, on the official website of the Rajya Sabha at rajyasabha.nic.in. While special language papers are conducted separately, the medium for the entire examination is either Hindi or English.
