Results Announced for Pre-DElEd Examination 2026



The eagerly anticipated results for the Pre-DElEd Examination 2026, organized by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU) in Kota, have been officially released. The announcement was made by Madan Dilawar, the state's Education and Panchayati Raj Minister, at the university's campus in Kota. Notably, the results were published just 20 days post-examination, setting a new benchmark for efficiency.


This year, female candidates have once again dominated the merit list. Muskan Chaudhary from Sri Ganganagar achieved the highest score in Rajasthan, obtaining 552.60 out of 600 marks. Following her, Chanchal Vaishnav from Ajmer secured the second position, while Trilok Bairagi from Bhilwara proudly took third place, bringing recognition to his district. The accomplishments of these top scorers have led to joyous celebrations among their families and educational institutions.


**Participation Statistics**


The Pre-DElEd examination was a significant event for aspiring educators. A total of 605,242 candidates registered for the exam, with 497,178 actually participating. Despite the high volume of candidates, the university managed to evaluate the answer sheets and compile the results in an impressively short timeframe.


**Innovative Examination Process**


This year's examination was notable for its advanced security measures aimed at ensuring transparency and preventing malpractice. Conducted on May 20 across 1,774 centers in 41 districts, the exam utilized AI-based surveillance, a high-tech command center, and live CCTV monitoring for the first time. Thanks to these proactive measures and a strict zero-tolerance policy, no incidents of paper leaks were reported.


**Next Steps for Successful Candidates**


With the results now available, the counseling process for successful candidates will begin soon. Admissions to D.El.Ed. courses at various teacher training colleges throughout Rajasthan will be based on merit and counseling. Education Minister Madan Dilawar praised the university for its efficient, transparent, and timely management of the examination and wished all successful students a bright future.
