The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially issued the admit card for the Combined Medical Services (CMS) Examination 2026. Candidates who have submitted their applications can now download their admit cards from the official UPSC website. The CMS exam is set to take place on August 2, with a total of 1,358 Medical Officer positions available through this recruitment drive.


To access their admit cards, candidates can use one of the following methods: their registered mobile number along with an OTP, their Universal Registration Number (URN) and password, or their registered email ID and password. UPSC has made it clear that no physical admit cards will be mailed. It is essential for candidates to download and print their e-admit cards well ahead of the exam date and keep them until the recruitment process concludes.

1. Visit the official UPSC online portal at upsconline.nic.in.


2. Click on the link for the UPSC CMS 2026 e-admit card.


3. Log in using the required credentials.


4. Download the admit card and check all the details for accuracy.

Important Exam Day Instructions

Arrive Early: Candidates are advised to reach the examination center at least 90 minutes prior to the start time. This allows sufficient time for face authentication, identity verification, and security checks. It is crucial to verify the details on the admit card, including name, photograph, and QR code. Any discrepancies should be reported immediately via the email address provided in the official notice.


Permitted Items: Only specific items are allowed in the examination center. Candidates may bring the printed e-admit card, the specified photo ID, a black ballpoint pen, a pencil, a transparent water bottle, passport-sized photographs (if required), and any other items listed in the official instructions. Mobile phones, smartwatches, electronic devices, books, bags, and other prohibited items are not allowed.
