Exam Schedule

The UP Police Constable recruitment examination is scheduled for June 8, 9, and 10, 2026. Each day will feature two shifts for the exam. Candidates are advised to verify the exam date, shift, center, and reporting time as indicated on their admit cards and to arrive punctually. Late arrivals will not be allowed to participate in the exam.

Security Measures at Exam Centers


All staff at the exam centers must display photo identification. Sector and static magistrates have been instructed to conduct inspections beforehand to ensure all necessary arrangements are in place.


Prohibited Items

A strict ban has been enforced on bringing mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, USB drives, cameras, digital pens, health bands, keys, and other electronic devices into the exam centers. Candidates will only be permitted entry with their admit card, a valid ID, and a pen. Cloakroom facilities will be available for storing bags and other personal items.


Exam Format

The written examination for the UP Police Constable recruitment will feature 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), totaling 300 marks. Candidates will have 2 hours (120 minutes) to complete the exam.
