Candidates who passed the preliminary exam can now download their call letters for the Mains exam, which is set to take place on September 12, 2026. Admit Card Release Date and Exam Schedule
The admit card for the SBI PO Mains was made available on September 2, 2026. The Mains examination is scheduled for September 12, 2026. The online application process for the SBI PO recruitment commenced on June 18, 2026, and concluded on July 8, 2026, with the fee payment deadline coinciding with the application closing date. Pre-Exam Training (PET) was conducted on July 17, 2026, while the SBI PO Prelims exam occurred on August 2, 2026, with results announced on August 28, 2026.

To download the admit card, follow these steps:

2. Log in using your registration number or roll number along with your password.

Examination Fee Details
For the SBI PO recruitment, candidates from the General, OBC, and EWS categories were required to pay a fee of ₹750. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwBD categories were exempt from this fee, which was payable through online methods.
Age Limit for SBI PO Recruitment 2026
As per the notification on SBI's official website, the age criteria for applying for the SBI PO position are as follows: candidates must be at least 21 years old and not older than 30 years. Relaxations in the upper age limit are provided for candidates from reserved categories in accordance with government policies.
Eligibility Criteria for SBI PO Posts
This recruitment drive aims to fill 1,500 PO positions at SBI. To be eligible, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution in India. SBI PO Selection Process
The selection process for the SBI PO role consists of several stages. Initially, candidates must pass a Preliminary Examination. Those who qualify will then be invited to take the Main Examination. Successful candidates from the Main Examination will subsequently be called for an interview.
