Introduction

Today, August 1, 2025, marks the commencement of the registration process for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025, organized by the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode. Candidates are required to visit the official website iimcat.ac.in for online registration. They can fill out the necessary information on the portal and submit their applications until September 13, 2025. This year, the CAT exam will be conducted by IIM Kozhikode. Important Dates

The last date to apply for the CAT exam is September 13, 2025. The admit cards will be issued by November 5, 2025, and the exam is scheduled for November 30, 2025. Results are expected to be announced in January 2026.

Exam Centers

The CAT exam will be held at approximately 170 centers. Candidates will be allowed to select any five exam cities based on their preference. It is important to note that the list of cities may change at the discretion of the CAT authorities.


Application Fees

Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Persons with Disabilities will need to pay ₹1,300. In contrast, candidates from other categories will be required to pay ₹2,600 as application fees. The registration fee is a one-time payment, regardless of how many institutions a candidate applies to. Please remember that the fee paid is non-refundable.


Steps for Online Registration

First, visit the official website iimcat.ac.in and scroll down to reach the 'New Candidate Registration' tab.


Click on the register button and enter your details to create a new account.


Log in using your user ID and password.


In the dashboard, navigate to the 'CAT 2025 Registration' tab.


Enter your personal details.


Pay the online registration fee and click submit.


Download and print the registration form.
