Candidates who have applied for the Excise Inspector recruitment exam are encouraged to download their admit cards from the official PSSSB website. The examination is set to take place on May 31, 2026, with a total of 197 positions available for Excise and Taxation Inspectors.

2. Find and click on the 'Admit Card' link on the homepage.
3. A new page will appear; enter all required details accurately.
4. Your admit card will be displayed; download it and check all the information, including your name.
5. If there are any errors in your name, photograph, exam date, or other details, contact PSSSB officials immediately.


Examination Details

**Examination Pattern**
The PSSSB Excise Inspector exam will be worth a total of 100 marks. There will be negative marking for incorrect answers, with a deduction of 0.25 marks for each wrong response. The exam duration is set for 2.5 hours, and the first paper will focus on the Punjabi language, carrying 50 marks. It is essential to pass this paper.


Important Instructions

On the examination day, candidates must bring a valid Photo ID along with their admit card. Entry to the examination venue will be denied without both the admit card and a valid ID proof.


Salary Information

**Salary Details**
During the probation period, the monthly salary is approximately ₹35,000. After successfully completing the probation, candidates will receive additional allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other benefits, resulting in a total salary exceeding ₹50,000.
