Admit Cards Released for NEET-UG 2026 Re-Examination

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the admit cards for the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination are now accessible. This important exam is set to take place on June 21. Candidates who are scheduled to take the re-examination can obtain their admit cards from the official NEET website. To do so, they should navigate to the 'Admit Card for NEET (UG)' link prominently displayed on the homepage. After that, they must select 'Admit Card for NEET (UG) – 2026 Re-examination' and log in using their application number, password, and captcha code to download the admit card.

Important Reminder for Candidates

Verify Bank Account Details

The NTA has emphasized the importance of verifying bank account details prior to downloading the admit card. This request comes after many students previously submitted incorrect or incomplete bank information, which could complicate fee refunds. A dedicated window has been established for students to confirm and rectify their bank account details to ensure refunds are processed correctly.

New Measures Following Exam Cancellation

Background on Re-Examination

It's important to note that the initial NEET-UG 2026 exam, conducted on May 3, was cancelled due to a leak of the question paper. Investigations indicated that some candidates had access to the exam questions before the scheduled date. As a result, a re-examination was deemed necessary. The NTA has introduced several student-friendly changes for this upcoming re-examination. The exam will now occur in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM, with an additional 15 minutes added to the overall duration to facilitate attendance and other formalities.

Enhanced Provisions for Students

More Pages for Rough Work

Moreover, the number of pages allocated for rough work in the question paper booklet has been increased. Students will now receive four additional pages—two at the beginning and two at the end of the booklet. This adjustment aims to better accommodate left-handed students. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has encouraged students to stay confident and prepare diligently for the exam. The NTA asserts that these new measures will enhance the transparency, convenience, and overall experience of the examination process.
