Exciting News for NEET UG Candidates: Candidates gearing up for the NEET UG exam can breathe a sigh of relief. Many faced challenges in downloading their admit cards due to issues with confirming their bank account details. In response, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a new notice easing this requirement. You can now download your NEET UG hall ticket without any obstacles. With the exam approaching, it’s crucial to download your admit card promptly.
NEET UG, recognized as the largest medical entrance examination in India, is set to take place on June 21, 2026. The admit cards were made available on June 14, with around 16 lakh candidates already having downloaded theirs. However, several candidates encountered problems updating their bank information, which hindered their access to the admit cards. To resolve this, the NTA has introduced two new options on its website. Below are the details of the NTA's announcement and instructions for downloading the admit card.
NTA's New Policy: No More Concerns About Bank Details
As per the NTA's notification, numerous candidates reported difficulties in providing complete bank account information for various reasons, which prevented them from downloading their NEET UG admit cards. In response, the NTA has clarified that while bank details are necessary for the exam fee refund process, no candidate will have their admit card withheld due to this requirement.
Two Download Options Available
When you log into the official NEET website (neet.nta.nic.in), you will encounter two options:
1. I want to download my admit card now and will confirm my bank details for the exam fee refund later.
2. I want to confirm my bank details for the exam fee refund now, and then download my admit card.
This means that if you currently do not have your bank details available, you can choose the first option to download your admit card immediately. You can complete the refund process later without affecting your eligibility for NEET UG 2026.
Exam Date Approaching: Download Your Admit Card Promptly
The NEET UG 2026 exam is scheduled for Sunday, June 21, 2026. The NTA encourages all candidates to download their admit cards today to avoid any last-minute technical difficulties or website crashes. After downloading, ensure to review the details regarding the exam center location, reporting time, gate closing time, and essential guidelines.

Follow these steps to download your NEET UG 2026 admit card:
1. Visit the official NTA NEET website: neet.nta.nic.in.
2. Click on the ‘NEET UG 2026 Admit Card Download’ link on the homepage.
3. Log in using your application number and date of birth.
4. Choose either the first or second option based on your preference.
Your NEET UG admit card will be displayed on the screen; make sure to print it out.
