Admit Card Announcement for JEE Main 2026


New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to release the admit cards for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Session 1 shortly. According to the official schedule previously issued by the NTA, the admit cards are expected to be available 3-4 days prior to the exam dates. Candidates can anticipate the hall tickets to be released on or after January 17 or 18, 2026.


It is important to note that the JEE Main 2026 admit cards will not be sent via postal service. Candidates are advised to keep their admit cards safe for future reference.


What to Check on the Admit Card?

The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 admit card will include the following details:



  • Candidate's Name

  • Father's Name

  • Application Number

  • Roll Number

  • Photograph and Signature

  • Names of Selected Subjects

  • Candidate's Gender

  • Date of Birth (as per Aadhaar/Marksheet)

  • JEE Exam Center, City, and Code

  • Details of JEE Exam Date and Timetable

  • Category

  • Eligibility Status

  • Disability Status

  • Writer Requirement (if applicable)

  • Candidate's Signature

  • Important Exam Instructions


Steps to Download the JEE Main 2026 Admit Card


  1. Visit the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in

  2. On the homepage, locate and click on the admit card link.

  3. Enter your login credentials and click submit.

  4. The JEE Main 2026 hall ticket will be displayed on the screen.

  5. Download it.


Candidates must appear for the exam at the designated center on the date and time specified on their e-admit card. No candidate will be allowed to sit for the exam on any date or shift other than what is mentioned on their admit card.


If there are discrepancies in the details, photograph, or signature on the e-admit card and confirmation page, candidates can contact the NTA helpline between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. In such cases, candidates should attend the exam with the previously downloaded admit card. However, the NTA will take necessary actions to correct the records later.
