Checking Your Shortlist Status
To confirm your status on the shortlist, follow these steps:
- Step 1: Visit the official IIM Ahmedabad website.
- Step 2: Click on 'Admission Status: PGP 2024-26 batch.'
- Step 3: Enter your CAT registration number and Email ID.
- Step 4: Click on 'Go.'
- Step 5: Your PI shortlist status will be displayed on the screen.
Upcoming Stage for Shortlisted Candidates
Candidates shortlisted in this phase will proceed to the Analytical Writing Test and Personal Interview (AWT-PI). Ensure to complete and submit the interview form by January 10, 6 pm, to progress further.
CAT 2023 Cut-off for IIM Ahmedabad
The shortlisting process considers CAT scores and cut-off marks across various categories:
- General Category: 70th percentile in each section (VARC, DILR, and QA), with an overall 80th percentile.
- NC-OBC-Transgender: 65th percentile in each section and an overall 75th percentile.
- SC/ST Categories: Varying between 50th to 70th percentiles in each section and an overall 60th to 70th percentile, depending on the category.
- PwD Category: Aligned with SC and ST categories, considering general or specific status.
IIM Ahmedabad Selection Criteria 2024
Post AWT & PI, admissions are based on various attributes, including CAT performance, academic records, extracurricular achievements, work experience, and more. Candidates should be at least 19 years old by June 30, 2024.
Checking the Provisional Admission Status
Tentatively, during the second week of April 2024, candidates participating in AWT & PI can check their provisional admission status on the IIMA website and subsequently receive official admission offers.
