Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced the AFCAT (02/2024) recruitment for Flying & Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches, as well as NCC Special Entry for courses commencing in July 2025. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online.

Important Dates

• Starting Date to Apply Online: May 30, 2024 (11:00 AM)
• Closing Date to Apply Online: June 28, 2024 (11:00 PM)
• Date of Exam: August 9, 10, & 11, 2024
• Admit Card Available: July 25, 2024

Application Fee

• For AFCAT Entry: Rs. 550/-
• For NCC Special Entry: Nil
• Payment Mode: Credit/Debit Cards/Net Banking

Age Limit (as on July 1, 2025)

• For Flying Branch (AFCAT and NCC Special Entry):

  • Minimum Age Limit: 20 Years
  • Maximum Age Limit: 24 Years
  • Born Between: July 2, 1999, to July 1, 2005 (both dates inclusive)

• For Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch:

  • Minimum Age Limit: 20 Years
  • Maximum Age Limit: 26 Years
  • Born Between: July 2, 1999, to July 1, 2005 (both dates inclusive)

Qualification

• For Flying Branch:

  • Minimum 50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level.
  • Graduation in any discipline or BE/B Tech degree.
  • Alternatively, cleared Section A & B of the Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India in relevant engineering disciplines.

• For Ground Duty (Technical):

  • BE/B Tech degree or equivalent.
  • Degree or PG Degree in relevant subjects.

• For Ground Duty (Non-Technical):

  • Graduation or PG Degree in relevant subjects.
