The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (Bihar STET) 2024. Application Fee:

For Paper I or II:

• General, Economically Weaker General Category, Backward Classes, Extremely Backward Class: Rs. 960/-
• SC/ST/Divyang Candidates: Rs. 760/-

For Paper I & II:

• General, Economically Weaker General Category, Backward Classes, Extremely Backward Class: Rs. 1440/-
• SC/ST/Divyang Candidates: Rs. 1140/-

Payment Mode: Online via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

Important Dates:

• Starting Date to Apply Online & Payment of Fee: 14-12-2023 at 04:30 PM
• Last Date to Apply Online & Payment of Fee: 01-03-2024
• Date of Paper 1 Exam: 18-05-2024 to 29-05-2024
• Date of Paper 2 Exam: 11-06-2024 to 20-06-2024
• Date for Downloading of Paper 1 Admit Card: 11-05-2024 to 29-05-2024

Age Limit (as on 01-08-2024):

• Minimum Age Limit: 21 Years
• Maximum Age Limit for UR (Male): 37 Years
• Maximum Age Limit for UR (Female): 40 Years
• Maximum Age Limit for Backward Class (Male/Female): 40 Years
• Maximum Age Limit for Economically Backward Classes (Male/Female): 40 Years
• Maximum Age Limit for SC (Male/Female): 42 Years
• Maximum Age Limit for ST (Male/Female): 42 Years
• Age Relaxation: Applicable as per Rules

Qualification:

For Paper I (Secondary):

• Degree, PG (Relevant Discipline), B.Ed, B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.

For Paper II (Senior Secondary):

• PG (Relevant Discipline), B.Ed, B.A.B.Ed/ B.Sc B.Ed/ B.Ed M.Ed.
