CTET 2023: CBSE to Release Admit Card on August 18, Websites to Check

To prepare for the examination day, CBSE is set to issue the CTET July 2023 admit card on August 18th via the official website ctet.nic.in.

The upcoming 17th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is scheduled to be organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on August 20th. To prepare for the examination day, CBSE is set to issue the CTET July 2023 admit card on August 18th via the official website ctet.nic.in. Aspiring candidates are required to access the official portal and utilize their login credentials, namely the application number and date of birth, to download the admit card. Previously, the CTET July exam city slip 2023 was made available on the official website ctet.nic.in.

The application process for CTET 2023 was open from April 27th to May 26th. It is imperative for all candidates to possess the admit card when entering the examination hall on the designated day. The CTET 2023 exam will take place in offline mode and is divided into two shifts. Paper 1 is scheduled from 9:30 AM to 12 PM, while Paper 2 will be conducted between 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM. Candidates are strongly advised to arrive at the examination center well in advance to complete all necessary formalities without any last-minute inconvenience. The official notification states, "Detailed information regarding examination centers will be provided on CBSE's website (ctet.nic.in) on 18/08/2023."

To download the CTET 2023 admit card, candidates can follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official CTET website at ctet.nic.in.
  2. Click on the admit card download link.
  3. Provide the required details.
  4. Click the 'Submit' button.
  5. Confirm the checkbox at the bottom of the page.
  6. Proceed to download and print the CTET hall ticket.

It is crucial for candidates to review the details on the admit card, including their name, roll number, category, gender, CTET exam date, exam center and code, registration number, father’s name, mother’s name, exam time, and date of birth.

CTET serves as a qualifying examination for those seeking eligibility to apply for various teaching positions in elementary and secondary schools. Successful completion of Paper 1 qualifies candidates to teach in classes 1 to 5, whereas Paper 2 eligibility is for teaching in Classes 6 to 8. The question paper consists entirely of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each with four alternative responses.
