Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is an administration established by the government of India in 2011 under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. The organization is engaged in protecting and promoting public health through the regulation and supervision of food safety and also Contributing to the development of international technical standards in food and also collect data related to food consumption, risks, etc. It also provides much technical support to the Central Government. Recently the organization has announced vacancies for the post of Director and Chief Technical Officer. Those candidates who have a Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry and have required experience can apply for the post.
